Production
Mastic resin harvested from Pistacia lentiscus trees in southern Chios is steam-distilled to extract its essential oils. The resulting distillate forms the base of the liqueur, preserving the natural character and complexity of the resin. No artificial flavourings are used.

Food pairing
Pairs perfectly with fresh or dried fruits (figs, grapes), nuts (almonds, walnuts), soft or fresh cheeses, as well as light pastries with vanilla or chocolate. Also ideal with Mediterranean or Eastern sweets, such as portokalopita.
