This mastiha liqueur is crafted from distillate of Chios mastic resin, one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive botanical ingredients. Based on a traditional 1930s recipe, it combines sweetness, freshness and aromatic depth in an authentic and elegant style.

Tasting Notes

Fresh, resinous nose with pine, herbal and citrus notes. On the palate, gently sweet and smooth with a cooling sensation and a clean, aromatic finish. Distinctively Mediterranean and refreshing.

Production

Mastic resin harvested from Pistacia lentiscus trees in southern Chios is steam-distilled to extract its essential oils. The resulting distillate forms the base of the liqueur, preserving the natural character and complexity of the resin. No artificial flavourings are used.

Food pairing

Pairs perfectly with fresh or dried fruits (figs, grapes), nuts (almonds, walnuts), soft or fresh cheeses, as well as light pastries with vanilla or chocolate. Also ideal with Mediterranean or Eastern sweets, such as portokalopita.
