Vidiano
Vidiano (pronounced Vee-DEE-ah-no) is a white grape variety native to Crete, more specifically to Rethymno, now also grown in other parts of the island and mainland Greece.
Mainly used for dry white wines, sometimes aged in oak barrels, Vidiano is a modern star in the making, recognized for its aromatic character, elegance, and quality potential. Careful vineyard management is essential, as this grape variety does not respond well to high yields. Only well-maintained grapes can express its full structure and charm.
