About this producer

Aoton (“ἄωτον” meaning “finest specimen of its class”) is the project of oenologist Sotiris Gkinis, based near Athens in Peania. The estate works 6 hectares of certified organic vineyards in Mesogia, cultivating native varieties (Savatiano, Roditis, Mandilaria) and producing PGI Attiki wines including retsina, all with low yields, night harvesting, and minimal‐intervention methods.
