Limniona
Limniona (pronounced Lim-NEE-oh-nah) is a red grape variety native to Thessaly in northern Greece that has recently emerged from obscurity. Once nearly extinct, it has been carefully revived through research and micro-vinification, revealing its powerful yet elegant character.
Limniona wines are characterized by dense yet silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and subtle aromas of red fruit and herbs. Vigorous and heat-resistant, the vine thrives in challenging conditions, producing wines that appeal to sophisticated palates and showcase the richness of Greece's indigenous wine heritage.
