Vostilidi
Vostilidi (pronounced Voh-stee-LEE-thee) is a rare white grape variety native to the Ionian Islands, mainly Kefalonia and Zakynthos, where it is also known as Goustolidi or Avgoustolidi (“jewel of August”).
Typically producing dry white wines, Vostilidi wines are aromatic and expressive, with notes of citrus, stone fruit, and white flowers, medium to high acidity, and refreshing minerality. In certain expressions, particularly orange wines or styles aged in oak barrels, the grape variety reveals honeyed and botanical nuances, offering a unique and characterful tasting experience.
