This wine represents the winemaker’s radical decision to capture the best expressions of old vines in some of the most famous Xinomavro appellations of Northern Greece. The result is a well-structured, complex and powerful wine, which expresses the variety’s greatness.

The “Dots family” consists of single varietal wines from indigenous varieties. You will find the name of each wine’s variety in the illusional label.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Complex aromas of violet, red plums, raspberries and strawberries with some delicate notes of tomato, tapenade and pepper. On the palate its remarkable acidity balances perfectly with the intensity of the fruit and the velvety tannins, leaving a persistent elegant aftertaste.

Vinification: Berry to berry selection. Spontaneous fermentation in tulip shaped 31hl concrete tanks and a small portion in 5hl open top barrels 5-8% whole cluster. Blended right after fermentation. 10 months aging on the fine lees in amphoras. Bottled unfiltered.
