Muscat of Kefalonia 2019

PETRAKOPOULOS WINES | CEPHALONIA

A muscat to expand your horizons!

PDO Muscat of Kefalonia (est.1971) is a region confined to the western part of the island and one of the four Greek PDO largely attributed to dessert wines made from the small white Muscat berry.

With this naturally sweet wine, Petrakopoulos winery is not only paying hommage to a historical variety together with a long winemaking tradition but also putting their elegant stamp to a misunderstood variety and wine style.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Bursting aromas of citrus, bergamot, orange, tangerine, honey and grape. Rich in texture with delicious high acidity and mineral hints that perfectly balance its sweetness. Wonderful fruity aftertaste with a burst of refreshing brightness on the finish.
