Robola classic 2021


Classic, is the first of the three Robolas produced by the winery. An ideal wine to discover this local gem varietal.

Grapes are grown on two small, fragmented vineyards planted on the steep slopes of Mount Aenos. The un-grafted, non-irrigated vines seek out the minerals in the limestone subsoil, adding to the wine its iodine character.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Beautiful bright yellow colour. Mild aromas of white flowers, citrus and wild herbs. In the mouth, medium volume with crisp acidity that balances a smooth mouthfeel. White peach and citrus fruits (lemon, lime) dominate. Lingering lemony and spicy finish.

Viticulture: Eco-oriented

Vinification: Careful grape sorting. Winemaking is done with gentle methods, as naturally as possible, leaving the “terroir” and the variety to express their own personality. No clarifiers and filters are used in order to better preserve the authenticity of this rare grape variety.
