Gramina is an ode to Assyrtiko! Made from a single vineyard, located in the village of Vourvoulos where Vassaltis Vineyards is situated, this limited release wine expresses the most exuberant Santorini!

The grapes are harvested by hand before dawn and the whole bunches are immediately pressed to preserve the freshness of the fruit. After a long fermentation and maturation period, the result is a wine of astonishing elegance that displays all the unique characteristics of the classy white grape that is Assyrtiko.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Intense and complex on the nose with citrus, grapefruit, honeysuckle, stone fruit, exuding minerality from lava rocks. On the palate, its rich body and sharp but well integrated acidity will simply fascinate you!
