Explore the variety’s potential with this limited release dry Samos Muscat with a touch of oak. Only the best grapes grown at higher altitude – low yielding vineyards are chosen. Surprisingly refreshing and rich, Roya Oak comes to stir the wine waters of Samos and push the boundaries of Muscat.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Pale lemon in colour. The nose is complex with a medium intensity displaying well-defined floral aromas, melon, apple, nectarine, mild wood notes, embedded with aromatic plants, reminiscent of Mediterranean herbs. The creamy flavours are balanced by a soft minerality and a well aligned acidity while some vanilla, nutty notes add to a long-lasting, elegant finish. Decanting this wine before serving is highly recommended.

Viticulture: Organic, biodynamic

Vinification: The short extraction and gentle pressing of the grapes creates a healthy must that ferments spontaneously in oak barrels. Stirring the lees in 500-litre barrels for 6 months adds volume and richness. Cold-stabilisation, filtering and bottling is completed in the spring of the following year.
