Limnio 2022

Limnio is one of the oldest varieties in the world and the winery’s flagship wine. A red wine with a complex character and impressive finesse to cellar or appreciate within its youth after a short decanting.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Bright ruby colour. Aromatically, it gives off a blend of red and black fruits on the nose such as blackcurrant and cherry, accompanied by light notes of vanilla, herbs, spicy roses and tea leaves. The palate is lively, multi-layered with an impetuous acidity, coated by flavours of iced strawberries and mint. Tannins are present but polished just enough to carry its structure leaving a lingering aftertaste.

Viticulture: Organic

Vinification: Handpicked grapes. Classic red wine vinification in steel tanks. Extraction lasts for 15 days in controlled temperatures. Finally, it matures for 8 months in its fine lees in French oak barrels of 2nd and 3rd use.
