Zakynthino
A rare variety that was probably born in Zakynthos but is making a career on the small, fragmented, gobelet vineyards on the island of Cephalonia as well as on Western Peloponnese.
It makes wines which are not intensely aromatic, distinguished by freshness, high acidity and great ageing potential.
