Kokkino 2019

PETRAKOPOULOS WINES | CEPHALONIA

Kokkino represents the purity and freshness of the youngest Mavrodaphne vines possessed by the winery. A single vineyard wine with a remarkable terroir influence resulting in a charming salinity. An authentic introduction to the intriguing world of Mavrodaphne!

People often think it is a Japanese word, but in fact Kokkino is the Greek word for red.

Andromachi’s Tasting Notes

Medium ruby colour. Rich aromas of dried prunes, currants, and ink. Moderate acidity in the mouth coated by velvety tannins.
