It refers to the tradition of producing naturally sweet wine from sun-dried grapes. According to travelers&#8217; accounts, Siatista Liastos was already known in the 15th century.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Only the best, healthiest fruit from the highest vineyards, planted in 1931 on naturally well-drained soils, is harvested fresh to produce this traditional limited edition wine. The grapes are dried in large, naturally ventilated warehouses, much like in the Appassimento process. The bunches are laid out horizontally on wooden crates and left to rest for around 80 days.
